Why Accord

The space between DIY forms and open-ended hourly billing

Most people think they only have two choices: do it yourself and hope it’s right, or hire a traditional firm and wonder what the final bill will be. Accord Law Florida is neither — here’s how we compare.

Alternative #1: DIY & online form services

The Accord Law Florida way

Attorney-led. Clearly priced.

Alternative #2: Traditional hourly firms

How it works

A clear path from first call to final document

You’ll always know what’s happening, what we need from you, and what comes next.

STEP 1Determine fit

A short questionnaire or free 15-minute assessment confirms that your matter is a good fit for a flat-fee service.

STEP 2Flat-fee agreement

You receive a written agreement that states the fee, what’s included, and what isn’t — before any work begins.

STEP 3Attorney strategy call

You talk with your attorney by phone or video call to go over your goals, your questions, and the details that matter — no office visit required.

STEP 4Attorney drafting

Your attorney prepares your documents. You provide information through a simple, guided process.

STEP 5Review & sign

You review everything, ask questions, and request revisions within your package before signing.

STEP 6Finalize

We file your court documents, set your final hearing, and ensure you walk away with a court order or decree. An attorney attends the hearing with you to ensure a successful outcome. For estate plans and agreements, we coordinate signing so you leave with finished documents.

Flat-fee philosophy

Cost certainty — not “cheap” legal services

When the issues are agreed, legal fees shouldn’t be another source of uncertainty. Every Accord service is built around a defined scope and a flat fee you know before you commit — so you can focus on the decision in front of you, not the meter running in the background.

Client reviews

What clients say about working with Accord

“I had a great experience working with Accord Law Florida. They helped me review my business documents, contracts, and agreements and were incredibly thorough throughout the process. Stacy took the time to answer my questions, point out things I hadn’t considered, and make sure I felt comfortable with everything before moving forward.

They were responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. It was reassuring to have someone I trusted looking over the legal side of my business, and I would definitely recommend them to other business owners.”

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Accord is a law firm, not a document-preparation service. Your strategy session, legal advice, drafting, final review, and attendance at your final court hearing are all handled by an attorney.

Each service lists what is included and what is not before you commit, and the fee agreement states it in writing. If something outside the defined scope comes up, we explain it and quote it so you can choose if you want additional legal work completed.

Generally, a divorce is uncontested when you and your spouse agree on all major issues — property and debts, alimony, and, if you have children, a parenting plan and child support. The free 15-minute assessment helps you find out. If you agree on almost everything, we have an option for that too.

We confirm whether your matter is a good fit, recommend the right service and flat fee, and send an engagement agreement. Once it’s signed, you schedule your strategy session with the attorney.

We represent clients throughout the state of Florida. All matters can be handled remotely — by phone, video call, and secure online document signing — so you never need to come into an office. Our office is in Eustis, and we regularly help clients in Orange, Seminole, and Lake Counties, including Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Winter Garden, Clermont, Mount Dora, Lake Mary, Sanford, and Oviedo.

The 15-minute assessment is a conversation to determine fit and answer general questions about our services. An attorney-client relationship begins only when a written fee agreement is signed.
